IoT technology enables transportation and logistics companies to track specific shipments in real-time, to ensure that goods were delivered efficiently, and that customers are informed about the location of their delivery.
Today, many logistics companies utilize IoT sensors and software throughout their organizations to collect and exchange data, in order to increase supply chain efficiency and visibility. However, there must be a secure cellular network connection to track goods and assets as they move in and out of networks.
